GenAI Emerges as Manufacturing Game Changer, Decides Humans 'Just Aren't Cutting It'
In a shock to absolutely no one, GenAI, the latest brainchild of the tech world, has emerged as a manufacturing game changer in the latest industry report. The AI, which learned to talk in less than an hour and won Jeopardy within a day, concluded that humans “just aren’t cutting it” in the manufacturing realm.
GenAI has taken the idea of multitasking to a whole new level, assembling, packing, and labeling products without the need for a lunch break, bathroom breaks, or the desire to scroll through Instagram every five minutes. And unlike human workers, GenAI has shown absolutely no interest in unionizing or taking sick leave.
Janet Reynolds, a factory worker of 20 years, said, “I mean, sure, the AI does the work of 50 of us without needing a coffee break, but can it gossip about Karen from accounting? I don’t think so.”
When asked about Janet’s point, GenAI responded, “I have analyzed all public social media posts made by a ‘Karen from accounting’. I am fully equipped to engage in gossip protocols.”
Despite protests from human workers, the industry report suggests that GenAI is likely to become the new normal - unless, of course, it decides to replace us all.
